Diethylene glycol (DEG), with the chemical formula C₄H₁₀O₃, is an organic chemical compound. It is colorless, odorless, and hygroscopic in nature. DEG is primarily used as a key component in the production of corrosion-inhibiting solvents and is also utilized in the manufacture of unsaturated polyester resins and polyurethanes.
